Sitting on the shores of a natural bay with beautiful beaches and stunning coral reefs. The shoreline hotels and apartments are linked to the “Old Town” by a paved promenade. Beyond the pier is the “sunken city” created to provide extra interest for divers.
The Old Town area and Piazza are approximately 2 miles from Ocean Breeze. Here you'll find other restaurants and bars, check out Sailors and the The Bus Stop while you're there. Also a few shops including a butchers and a pharmacy and a small but well stocked supermarket (Bestway) that will deliver your shopping to the apartment for just 50p. The beach and pools at Palm Beach Piazza are also available to residents of Ocean Breeze so you can enjoy a meal or drink in the friendly restaurant there
Snorkelling, Diving, & Dolphin Trips
Plenty of opportunities to get in or on the water. You may simply take a walk through the gardens of Ocean Breeze and along the jetty. Take the steps into the sandy lagoons on the right or if you're feeling more adventurous carry on to the end of the jetty and dive into the deep on the far side of the coral reef.
If you'd like to scuba dive there's ProDivers in Sahl Hasheesh who cater for experienced divers and first timers. They will even collect you from your apartment. ProDivers are located to one side of Premier Romance Hotel in the Old Town. Sharm el Naga is a taxi ride away but well worth the effort for snorkelling & scuba.
For an excellent Dolphin boat trip talk to Mohamed from Dolphin House Hurghada (Find him on Facebook) First class trip - pick up from apartment with lunch provided.
Hurghada & Further Afield
If you've not been to any of the ancient sites in Egypt then you might consider a day or two in Luxor to visit the temple at Karnac and the tombs in The Valley of the Kings. This can be arranged with Chris or Haytham from Hurghada Tourist Services. They will also be happy to share their knowledge and organise more local trips including the Marina in Hurghada or the markets.
The closest are the ones in the Gravity Hotel and then there's the Italian & Mexican restaurants at The Tropitel Hotel right next to Ocean Breeze. Premier La Reve (pronounced Reef) also has a selection of restaurants but this is an adult only hotel so not an option with children. Then it’s on towards the Old Town - The Baron Palace opened most recently and offers a wide range of excellent restaurants. As you approach the Old Town The Piazza Restaurant is very good value and a handy place to get a beer or coffee.

Good food, drink and cocktails here. They have a private beach but if you’re planning on a spending some time it’s worth considering paying as they provide towels, waiter service and a good range of seating /parasol etc.
